Rainbow Trust is a national charity providing expert practical and emotional support to families, where they need it, to help them make the most of each day. It enables families who have a child with a life-threatening illness to make the most of their time together. They rely almost entirely on voluntary donations and help over 2,300 families through its nine care teams in England.
The technology provider, based in South London, has been a supporter of the charity for 2 years and started targeted fundraising at the start of 2018. Staff have raised donations through events such as the Three Peaks Challenge, a 90ft Abseil down the Queen’s Stand at Surrey’s Epsom Downs Racecourse, as well as bake sales, pub quizzes and other initiatives.
Oonagh Goodman, Director of Fundraising and Marketing at Rainbow Trust, says: “We are very grateful that intuitive have raised over £10,000 to help us fund our vital support to families with a seriously ill child. All the money raised will help Rainbow Trust to support families and make the most of the precious time they have together.”
