Andy Keeley, commercial director of technology provider intuitive and Andras Simonfi, co-founder of Italian travel company Imperatore Travel, will explain the key issues during the conference session at Travel Technology Europe 2019 at Olympia, London.

They will share their experiences and offer advice on how to deal with the myriad of intermediaries, such as channel managers and switches, to be able to give the best service to customers.

The session, entitled “How tour operators can source and sell their hotel and activity programmes efficiently” will start at 12.00 in the Travel Technology Theatre at Olympia and be moderated by travel industry journalist Jeremy Skidmore.

Simonfi said: “I hope our position – as hotel owner, tour operator and bedbank – will provide a unique perspective on the complex supply and distribution chain, as well as giving practical advice to help others.”

intuitive recently published a report which explored the complexities and broke down the intricacies of the sector. The report explores the available options for travel companies that need high-performing technology to access the best hotel rates and availability.

intuitive’s reservation system, iVector, can simplify this landscape for tour operators, OTAs and hotel wholesalers. The iVectorConnect API is a simple interface that can help by enabling travel companies to stay on their existing reservation system but gives access to the best accommodation buying and fulfilment capabilities from iVector. From inventory and supplier management to reporting, iVectorConnect gives a simple solution for sourcing and selling accommodation.
