Meridian Systems Customers Profiled in Harvard Study For Online Collaboration and Project Management Technology

FOLSOM, Calif. (January 31, 2006) - Meridian Systems®, the industry leader in project management software within the construction industry, announced today that two of its customers, Kitchell Corporation and Manhattan Construction Company, have been profiled in a recently completed one-year study from Harvard University on The Value of Online Collaboration and Project Management (OCPM) Technology in the AEC industry.
In an attempt to provide an objective and comprehensive study that validates and supports statements that OCPM technology will positively contribute to the return on investment of AEC industry stakeholders, the Harvard research team examined the true value of implementing OCPM technology within construction organizations. In collaboration with sponsoring technology providers, including Meridian Systems, the study identifies and measures the benefits of implementing and using technology.
As part of this research, both Kitchell Corporation and Manhattan Construction Company were featured in detailed case studies regarding their use of online project management and collaboration software. Each organization describes their usage of Meridian software in optimizing project operations, and the specific measurable values as well as the softer business benefits that are being experienced. Harvard University will present its detailed research findings from this study by hosting a presentation March 8th-9th, 2006 at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, Gund Hall 48 Quincy Street, Cambridge, MA 02138.
